What We Do!

Insitu Terrazzo WUDU

Terrazzo Installation

We are a professional contractor specialising in the installation of In situ Terrazzo, Marble and granite products from tiles and slabs to bespoke hand cast furniture and vanity tops. We use traditional methods for installation as well and new up to date specialist systems that have been developed specially for R-12 installations. Whilst most of our work is complete in commercial buildings we also take on domestic works for main contractors and management companies. For London Terrazzo installers call today!

Traditional Venetian Terrazzo - A mixture of large to small marble aggregate and lime also know as “battuto” (beaten) floor. There are very few installers in the Uk today that have the skill, knowledge or indeed stamina to install this system today and R-12 are likely the only contractor to offer this service.

Resin Terrazzo - Utilising this system large sections can be poured in one go with lout the need for divider strips at 1m centres. Resin is more versatile when it comes to pigmentation, we are able to match more vibrant colours and the installation is a faster process then the above systems.

Cementitious Terrazzo - This is the traditional terrazzo of the uk today. By mixing marble aggregates, cement, and pigments to create the arrangement required our master installers will trowel the mix evenly over the substrate to 20mm in thickness. Once cured the mod is then ground down and polished to expose the aggregates and take the floor to the specified level of shine.

Anti Slip Treatment

Anti slip treatments

R-12 have the capability to action and turn the most problematic and unsafe floors into a HSE wet dream. Whilst the recommended slip resistance for floors being a pendulum test value (PTV) of 36 in wet conditions   R-12 have vast experiance working on uk infrastructure such as train stations that require a PTV of 42 in wet conditions.

Floor Preperation

R-12 understand that the durability of your floor all comes down to the quality of the substrate and the preparation an installer completes prior to applying any finishes.

2. If the substrate has damp issues we can sort it.

3. If the substrate is to low, we can screed it.

4. If the substrate is of poor quality

and will not withstand it’s intended use then we will have the right solution for you.
